George Bothamley

As a child, I didn't really have much of an interest in art. So it was only in my late teens when I was going through a lot of personal struggles (and pretty much lost my ability to communicate adequately in any other way) that I gravitated towards drawing as a creative outlet.

One of my earliest pen and ink pictures was of St Paul's Cathedral (seen below) - completed only four months after first taking up drawing.
And ever since then, most of my work has been created in charcoal or pen and ink - generally with no drafting, or technological aids etc - so that the end result is as raw and unedited as possible.
If you'd like to commission a drawing, or enquire about purchasing any you see below please do get in touch.

Commissions
Even in our highly digital world where images can be createed at a click of a button, there is still nothing more soulful or emotionally affecting than a physical work of art that has been created by hand.
And for buyers looking for a work tailored specifically to their own space or interior - commissioning an artwork can mean having an even more personal piece of art, which can be treasured for a lifetime.
