I want my work to have a timeless rather than an"old world" feel to it. And of coure, I am nowhere near matching the skill of the old masters or the artists who have inspired me the most over the years. 

But still, I think there is a reason why certain ideals in art have remained constant even through so many different generations and eras. 

So, if my work can capture even a trace of that - it is about as much as I can hope for.
